The Lazy Girl In Your Life

Hannah Barnes
We’ve all got one, and we all know exactly who they are (if you don’t, it’s probably you) but just in case, here are a few tips on spotting the lazy girl in your life!

1. Leaving the house is unnecessary for most tasks. Seriously, the internet can take care of 99% of your household needs and for everything else, she’s written you a list.

2. There is only one food group: take-away.

3. Mornings are a mythical time, she's unwilling to discuss further, so if you plan on doing anything before 10AM, you’ll be doing it alone.

4. There is nothing on Netflix she hasn’t seen - and yeahhhh, she’s pretty much blown through most of Amazon Prime now too. Suggest all the shows you like: she’s seen them all.

5. Luckily though, there are some shows you really can watch over and over again. On rotation, in fact. There’s probably a system to it, but I wouldn’t bother trying to work it out.

6. Audio books are a great way to do nothing, when usually she’d be doing a bit of something. Catching the odd chapter of the latest thriller, whilst you're putting your lunch together is therefore an occupational hazard.

7. If it can’t be done in one standing, it can’t be done.

8. She'll ensure you never make a wasted journey. If you’re going out you may as well stop by the dry cleaners for her too, pick up some food for the cat and figure out what to do about dinner.

9. Friends come to her. So get used to having your kitchen overrun with them on impromptu visits, whenever there’s a new film to watch and especially around rush hour; when the i-was-on-my-way-home-from-work pile ups are likely to occur.

10. But if you really, really, really need her, she'll be there in a heartbeat sans make-up, outfit most likely selected from her floordrobe and ready for anything.
